FINAL JOURNEY AUCTION FRIDAY!

Okay so you're a big Journey fan - but will you be backstage at their Tuesday show at the Amphitheatre? You can! 2WD and the American Heart Association will give a pair of reserved seats and meet and greet passes to meet and get a picture with the band to the HIGHEST BIDDER during a special AUCTION this afternoon. Starting at 4 PM the bidding will begin at 420-1013. Then at 6 PM the highest bid will get the tickets and backstage passes! Best of all every penny of the winning bid goes to the American Heart Association. Listen to Ken Carson this afternoon from 4 - 6 for the great Journey Auction!

And don't miss your chance to be a star before the show by singing KENNYOAKE for great prizes including special advanced screening tickets to some of the hottest new movies! Here are some of the great performances from last week's Maroon Five Show...

MUST BE IN
THE FRONT ROW!

Marsha of Chesapeake won FRONT ROW seats for Thursday's Earth Wind and Fire show at the N'Telos Pavilion! She was a bit apprehensive about singing on the radio, but with a little coaxing we were able to bring out a brilliant performance. Way to go Marsha!

RECORD CROWD!

I am told there were over 10 THOUSAND of us at the Hootie & The Blowfish show on Friday night! Thanks to everybody who helped load up the Hootie School Bus with school supplies for kids who need them in the Norfolk Public Schools. These guys sounded GREAT and clearly gave it their all. I especially enjoyed it when Darius got out his “special guitar” that he uses when he plays “in the South” and kicked out a version of David Allen Coe’s “You Don’t Have to Call Me Darlin’, Darlin’” – fun stuff!
